Today Nintendo announced The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sweepstakes. Participants in the sweepstakes have an opportunity to win a trip to The Defenders of the Triforce, a real life Zelda adventure that lets guests interact with classic items and characters in the Zelda series. Entering the sweepstakes is easy, but does require a Twitter account. To enter login to Twitter and retweet “#NintendoSweepstakes#SCRAPZelda RT to enter for a chance to win a trip to Defenders of the Triforce” from @NintendoAmerica. How to Enter: Limit one entry per person. To enter, you must first be logged in as a registered user of Twitter. (If you are not a registered Twitter user, you can register for free at www.twitter.com.) While you are logged in to your Twitter user account, you must retweet “#NintendoSweepstakes#SCRAPZelda RT to enter for a chance to win a trip to Defenders of the Triforce” from @NintendoAmerica.
On or about February 8, 2017, Sponsor will select one Grand Prize winner and five First Place winners at random from all eligible entries received by Sponsor. The potential winners will be notified by email or direct message on or about February 8, 2017. To claim a prize, the potential winners must follow the instructions contained in the notification and respond within two (2) days. After verification of the winners, the winners may be publicly announced through Nintendo’s official social media channels (“Social Media”), which may include but are not limited to Instagram at www.instagram.com/Nintendo; Facebook at www.facebook.com/Nintendo; and Twitter at @NintendoAmerica.
Grand Prize:
The one (1) Grand Prize winner selected by Sponsor will receive the following prize package (the “Trip”): (i) four (4) round-trip coach airline tickets from a major U.S. or Canadian commercial airport near the winner’s home to Event location of the winner’s choosing for winner and winner’s guests (“Travel Guests”), who must be at least seventeen (17) years of age as of January 31, 2017 (however, at Sponsor’s discretion, winners who live within two hundred (200) miles of the Event location may receive round-trip ground transportation in lieu of the airline tickets); (ii) two (2) nights’ lodging in a hotel in the metropolitan area closest to Event for winner and the Travel Guests (two standard rooms, double occupancy); (iii) four (4) tickets to attend the Defenders of the Triforce (“Event”), which is scheduled to be held in select cities January 31, 2017 – May, 2017*, for winner and the Travel Guests; and (iv) a $500 Prepaid VISA or American Express Debit Card. Approximate retail value of the Trip package: $3,540.00 (United States dollars).
