Nintendo announced earlier this month that Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Now we have an official release date for Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, which is set to release on May 4th, 2018. The game is an upgraded version of the Wii U hit, which originally released on February 14th, 2014. The Switch port of the game will feature all the fun of the original plus includes a new playable character – Funky Kong. A new mode is also making its way into the Switch version, which allows new and novice players the chance to enjoy the game without the insane difficulty the game is known for. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze releases on the Nintendo Switch on May 4th, 2018.
