Marvelous Interactive announced the release date for Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns for the Nintendo 3DS. The game will release in North America on February 28th, 2017. The game is the next entry into the Story of Seasons franchise. In this latest entry, players will take on the role of a young city slicker who wishes to start a new life on a farm. Like other Story of Seasons or Harvest Moon games players can plant crops, marry, fish and take part in seasonal festivals. One of the special features coming to Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is the neighboring cities that the player can visit. For instance, a town named Westown is known to have cows and corrals, from which the player can sell and trade to gain new items for his/her farm. Three downs surround the player’s farm, hence the name “Trio of Towns”. Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns releases on the Nintendo 3DS on February 28th, 2017. See a trailer and screenshots below.
