The Pokemon GO team is celebrating the Lunar New Year with bonus Stardust for trainers who catch a Poochyena, Growlithe, Snubbull, Eevee or Electrike by February 17th. The Lunar New Year is the first day of a secular, sacred, or other year whose months are coordinated by the cycles of the moon according to Wikipedia’s description. Its typically a Chinese or Asian calendar system. For Pokemon GO Trainers it provides another reason for the Pokemon GO team to offer free Stardust. You only have a couple of days before the bonus offer ends, so get out and catch some!
