Animal Crossing has crossed over with other computer game franchises in the past, yet another activity might have made the most remarkable one yet as it put the opening of Elden Ring into the beautiful Nintendo-style. The activity not just places an Animal Crossing resident in the job of the Tarnished, however it replaces the first Elden Ring boss that players face with a giant crab. Of course, the two games couldn’t be more unique.
From one perspective, Elden Ring is tied in with exploring a vast open world, conquering bosses, and reforging the Elden Ring. On the other, Animal Crossing sets players all alone, tiny island and makes them the master of this land. Players can fabricate and design their own houses, set up island services, ranch, fish, and gather. Whereas Elden Ring has a frantic speed, with players suffering through hours of dying as they figure out how to beat these bosses, Animal Crossing is a leisurely game where players can spend hours gardening and decorating. However somehow, one fan figured out how to seamlessly combine these two games.
Shared to Reddit by user Wooden-Turtle, an activity recreates the opening fight from Elden Ring in the style of Animal Crossing. Dissimilar to other Animal Crossing crossovers, this is not a case of Elden Ring being reproduced in the game itself, yet rather a rethinking of what a scene from the game would resemble in the event that it was made in the realm of Animal Crossing. Elden Ring’s opening boss, the Grafted Scion, is supplanted by one of Animal Crossing’s crabs, and the Tarnished is furnished with the knight reinforcement that villagers can wear. In the end, a twist reveals that Isabelle, Animal Crossing’s Resident Services representative, was really playing a version of Elden Ring that existed in her reality.
The dumbfounded look that Isabelle has subsequent to being crushed by the opening Elden Ring boss could be an allusion to the distinction in trouble the two games have. Whereas Isabelle has just needed to manage boisterous Animal Crossing villagers, facing impossible-to-beat bosses is logical a jarring encounter. Presumably, Isabelle could wind up imagining her boss, Tom Nook, struggling to overcome Elden Ring.
Albeit Animal Crossing has been released for quite some time, players continue to find new challenges to keep them entertained. Then again, Elden Ring players have no shortage of challenges to survive, with many still trying to beat the final boss. Almost certainly, however, viewers will imagine other prominent game characters and how they could take to playing Elden Ring.
