Getting shooting star fragments in Animal Crossing New Horizons (ACNH) is fairly easy once you know how. First off you’ll need to speak to Celeste the owl (Blather’s Sister) to get a full explanation on shooting stars and how to wish upon one. Celeste will also give you a DIY recipe for the Star Wand. To find shooting star fragments you must wish upon a star. Start by finding an open space from which you can view the most night sky possible. Make sure your villager isn’t holding onto any items. Also tilt the camera so your camera is viewing upwards towards the sky. Wait a while, hopefully a shooting star will streak across the night sky. As the star moves across the sky press the (A) button. If done correctly the star fragment will drop into your villagers open hands. Be sure to continue looking up at the sky as one shooting star usually leads to additional ones.
