Project Sonic 2017 Confirmed Nintendo NX Release

Fans wondering if a new Sonic will be developed for the Nintendo NX will be pleased by Sega’s announcement at Comic Con yesterday during a special Sonic 25th Anniversary Celebration. Code named Project Sonic 2017, Sega released a special trailer alongside some other details on the NX’s first run-in with the blue blur. While the trailer below shows some surprises Sega did mention that the game will release sometime late next year. Project Sonic 2017 is the second game announced for the Nintendo NX, and is being developed by the same team that brought us the amazing Sonic Colors for the original Wii. Expect more details including a release date for Sonic on NX when Sega makes more details known.
