The next installments of Pokemon for the Nintendo 3DS are already breaking records. Nintendo stated late last week that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are Nintendo’s most pre-ordered game in the company’s history. This news comes about 1 month before the games release, meaning this record setting pre-order number could grow even larger. Other 3DS Pokemon games have also seen a jump in sales, riding the popularity craze of Pokemon Go earlier this summer. Sales for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y have surged thanks to Pokemon Go, while Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby have also seen large increases in sales. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon have a scheduled release date set for November 18th 2016 in North America, and November 23rd in Europe. See the original source tweet below.
