Nintendo just announced that a Samus Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL will become available on September 15th, 2017. The flashy 3DS unit sports some nice Samus artwork, and releases in-time for the release of Metroid: Samus Returns. The 3DS will feature two distinct colors, red and gold. A darker silloute of Samus graces the top, while the classic Metroid “S” logo is imprinted on the bottom surrounded by some nice gold coloring. The entire unit looks pretty sharp – see some photos below. The Samus Edition 3DS isn’t available for pre-order yet, but you can expect to see Amazon and other online retailers to soon have listings for the special edition.
