I’m in a bit of a spot with my 2016 Mustang GT and could really use some advice from people who’ve been through this before. The car’s been great for years, but recently the transmission has started this weird hesitation when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, especially when it’s cold, and I’ve got a feeling it’s not going to fix itself. I’ve heard there are some places in Industrial Area 4 that handle American muscle cars, but honestly, it’s tough to know who’s actually reliable and who’s just going to take your money and not fix the problem properly. I’ve read that Mustangs can have common issues like worn solenoids or valve body problems that cause delayed shifting, so I want to find a place that knows these cars inside out rather than a general mechanic who might just guess. A mate mentioned he had a good experience with a shop where Experienced Mustang Gearbox Service Available, and they actually used proper diagnostic equipment and gave him a clear breakdown of the costs before they started any work. If anyone knows a place that’s honest and knowledgeable, especially about Mustangs, I’d really appreciate the recommendation.
