So when you’re wondering what is semi monthy pay, it simply refers to a pay schedule that is paid twice, each month. It is spelled incorrectly sometimes as “semi monthy,” but it should be “semi-monthly. This is a payroll with 24 paychecks in a year, and a regular schedule of paychecks.
