For most men with healthy kidneys, taking Vidalista 80 mg under medical supervision is unlikely to cause direct kidney damage. Tadalafil, the active ingredient, is primarily metabolized by the liver and excreted largely in feces, with a smaller portion (less than 1%) cleared by the kidneys. This means the drug itself does not place a significant toxic burden on the kidneys.

However, serious indirect risks exist, particularly related to a known side effect: a sudden drop in blood pressure. Vidalista can significantly lower blood pressure, especially if taken with certain medications like nitrates or alpha-blockers. A severe and prolonged drop in blood pressure (hypotension) can reduce blood flow to vital organs, including the kidneys, potentially leading to acute kidney injury or exacerbating existing chronic kidney disease (CKD).
