Garage quoted me double for a Kays battery, is that normal or should I buy myself?

Took my car to a garage near my place for a routine oil change and the mechanic noticed the battery was weak on his tester, which to be fair I had been noticing harder starts in the morning so it wasn’t a complete surprise. He quoted me a price for a Kays replacement that was basically double what I’m seeing on car battery replacement sharjah for what appears to be the exact same battery with the same warranty period. When I questioned the price difference he said something about installation and proper disposal of the old battery and testing the charging system which all sounded reasonable but still doesn’t explain such a massive markup. Now I’m trying to figure out if I should just order the battery myself and have a mobile service install it at my apartment, which seems like the more economical option, but I’m also slightly worried about missing something that a garage might catch during installation. Is there actually any benefit to paying the garage premium or is it just convenience tax? Also trying to find a trusted Kays battery supplier Sharjah that I can be confident is selling genuine products with proper warranty registration, the website seems legit and their Google reviews are decent but I’ve been burned by online sellers before in other categories. Anyone else bought their own battery and had it installed separately, how did that process go and did you end up actually saving money in the end or were there hidden costs?
