Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is now Nintendo’s 2nd largest mobile game launch to date. According to Sensor Tower, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was downloaded 15-million times in 6 days. The numbers are pretty good, but didn’t even come close to Super Mario Run’s success, which was downloaded by 32 million people during the same time frame. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is only available on the App Store and Google Play (iOS & Android).
Top Downloaded Nintendo Mobile Apps To Date
- Super Mario Run – Over 200 Million Downloads – The Verge
- Pokemon Go – 100 million (by August 8th, 2017 – Google Play market only)
- Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – 15 million – Sensor Tower
- Fire Emblem Heroes – Unknown, but over 10-million from February – July 2017 – Sensor Tower
Its important to note that though Fire Emblem Heroes is at the bottom of this list, Nintendo has made more money (with micro-transactions) than that of Super Mario Run. There’s a good chance Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will also follow some of Fire Emblem Heroes choices on continuous updates, featuring new content etc.
