Niantic, the developer behind Pokémon GO recently updated the app for Android and IOS. The game is being updated to version 0.35.0 for Android and 1.5.0 for iOS devices. This update comes only a few days after Niantic updated their cheating & bans policy (8/18/2016. After seeing reports of in-game cheating the developer started taking action against players acquiring unfair advantages. The update brings some new features to the game.
- Implemented Pokémon Appraisal: Allows trainers to learn about a Pokémon’s attack and defense capabilities from their team leader (Candela, Blanche or Spark) to determine which of their Pokémon have the most potential for battle.
- Niantic is working of several new features for Pokémon GO.
- They also fixed some minor bug errors.
