Super Mario Run is really popular, having passed the 50 million download mark in two weeks. Mario’s first mobile app / game released first on iOS devices (iPhone / iPad), which makes the 50 million downloads even more impressive. Nintendo initially announced that Super Mario Run would first release on iOS devices. During the announcement Nintendo did mention an Android version but didn’t state an actual release date or time frame for the Android version. Nintendo did announce via their Twitter account that Android users can sign-up for an alert when Super Mario Run is available for their mobile device.
