Today Wired Productions and Caged Element unveiled “GRIP“, a 90’s inspired combat racer set to release on the Switch, PS4, Xbox One & PC later this year. A trailer along with a set of screenshots we’re also published today, showcasing the game’s fast paced graphics and vehicle combat previews. GRIP will utilize the Unreal Engine 4 to provide realistic physics along with powerful weapons. GRIP will include both online and offline play – including a local split-screen multiplayer component. Tracks range from urban city streets to tundra covered roads set in a futuristic setting. From the screenshots and trailer GRIP reminds us of games like Mega Race and F-Zero. Check out the trailer and screenshots below. There’s no official release date yet expect for a tentative 2018 release window.
