A new Splatoon 2 Splatfest was announced today via Nintendo’s Versus Twitter account. The next Splatfest will take place on 12/15/17 (next Friday). The theme for this Splatfest is “Which bad holiday gift would you rather receive? A Sweater or Socks?”. The Splatfest will officially start on December 15th at 9pm Pacific Time. This is just the latest Splatoon 2 Splatfest, back in November Nintendo held another Splatfest using the theme “TeamSciFi vs TeamFantasy”. Check back for more details on next weeks Splatfest!
Splatoon 2 did receive some attention yesterday at The Game Awards 2017. The game received a couple of nominations (no wins though) for Best Multiplayer Game and Best Family Game 2017. Its things like Splatfest that keep Splatoon fresh and fun for everyone!
