Nintendo showcased many games during the Nintendo Switch January presentation, including Splatoon 2. While not many details on the game we’re given, during the Switch presentation we did get to witness a variety of new weapons, maps and smaller details. We’ve included screenshots below, as well as the trailer for Splatoon 2 on the Nintendo Switch. If you we’re hoping that we’d receive an actual release date for Splatoon 2 you’re out of luck. The only thing Nintendo said about a release date for Splatoon 2 was that the game would be releasing sometime this summer. Other details include the ability to play local multiplayer with up to 8 Switch units, something that will sure to be a blast and a feature missing from the original Splatoon for the Wii U.
We’ll post more information on Splatoon 2 as it becomes available.
