To get in the holiday spirit Pokemon GO added 20 additional water and 20 additional ice Pokemon to the roster. The additional Pokemon come from the Hoenn region. There will also be some surprises, like a Pikachu wearing a Santa hat. Play Pokemon GO from December 22nd – December 25th and you’ll receive an Egg Incubator after you complete your first Photo Disc spin at a PokeStop. There will also be a selection of holiday bundles to help refill your backpack.
