Nintendo fans worldwide are waiting for the Nintendo NX reveal, which has been rumored to be happening sometime this month (October). We’ve decided to compile a list of every known Nintendo NX game known to be in development. See the game list below for every confirmed Nintendo NX game. Confirmed Nintendo NX 1st Party Games
Nobody knows how to make games better for Nintendo systems than Nintendo themselves. Here’s a list of confirmed Nintendo NX games that are being developed by Nintendo or one of it’s 2nd party studios or another developer who’s designing a game for Nintendo – to be published by Nintendo.
Confirmed NX Game – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Announced by Nintendo a while ago, Zelda Breath of the Wild is being developed for the Nintendo NX and the Wii U. There’s a good chance both versions will release at the same time, or have a release schedule similar to the Twilight Princess on the Gamecube and Wii back in 2006. Nintendo has given consistent updates for the next Zelda. If The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild releases on the Nintendo NX’s launch day it could be the consoles #1 system mover.
Confirmed Nintendo NX 3rd Party Games
Here’s a list of confirmed Nintendo NX 3rd party games. There’s a good chance Nintendo may publish some of these games on the list, like Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI. Nintendo published many of the games by Square-Enix on Nintendo systems, like the recent Dragon Quest VII on the 3DS.
Dragon Quest X

Dragon Quest X has already released on the Wii and Wii U in Japan. The game never made it to our shores, but that doesn’t mean it wont. Recently Dragon Quest X was announced for Nintendo NX, but no other details we’re provided.
Confirmed Game – Dragon Quest XI : In Search of Departed Time
Another Dragon Quest game. Recently announced to be in development for the NX, Dragon Quest XI In Search of Departed Time is the second title confirmed by Square Enix to be in development for Nintendo’s next system. More importantly it’s another RPG. Hopefully this means Square-Enix is eager to supply Nintendo with many new RPGs for it’s NX console.

Confirmed Game – Just Dance 2017
One of the first 3rd party games announced for the Nintendo NX, the Just Dance series will continue on Nintendo platforms with Just Dance 2017. Designed by long-time Nintendo partner Ubisoft, Just Dance 2017 will likely feature some unique NX features and capabilities.

Confirmed Game – Sonic the Hedgehog 2017
Project Sonic 2017 was recently announced by Sega as a game being developed for the Nintendo NX. Not much is known about the next Sonic installment, but it seems to have a crossover between old 16-bit sonic and more updated versions of the blue blur. We may see the game as a Nintendo NX launch title, here’s to hoping!
