Recently Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for the Nintendo 3DS. This is the first time the game has been localized outside of Japan, which originally released back in 1992 under the name Fire Emblem Gaiden. The 3DS version of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a re-imagined version, which Nintendo claims is “on a grander scale“. The entire presentation of Shadows of Valentia has been updated. Like many Nintendo games today, the dialog in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will include full voice overs. The game is similar to traditional Fire Emblem gameplay, but includes a twist, mixing in dungeon crawling aspects along with other RPG elements. Nintendo stated that Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has a release date set for May 19th, 2017. Nintendo also announced a dual pack amiibo set for Shadows of Valentia which you can see below. The amiibos feature the protagonists, Alm and Celica of Shadows of Vanentia, and will be available on May 19. Screenshots, trailers and other details will be coming soon.
