Blaster Master Zero Updated to Version 1.2 Adds Two New Modes

Blaster Master Zero 1.2 Now Available

Developer Inti Creates recently announced via Twitter that Blaster Master Zero has now been updated to version 1.2 for the Nintendo Switch version, and has two new modes available. The update along with the two new modes are free for anyone who’s already purchased Blaster Master Zero for the Nintendo Switch or 3DS. It should be noted that the 3DS version won’t update until May 4th following the 3DS eShop weekly release schedule. The first mode is Destroyer Mode. After completing the game, players will have the option to play Destroyer Mode, which is a more difficult version of the game. The 2nd mode is called EX Character Mode, which allows players to play through Blaster Master Zero using one of the new DLC characters available. These new DLC characters have their own abilities and weapons, which the developer hopes will extend the game’s replay value. See the list below of planned DLC characters for Blaster Master Zero.

  • Gunvolt – Available May 4, 2017 – Price : $1.99
  • Ekoro – Available June 1st, 2017 – Price : $1.99

Both of these EX Character Mode DLC characters are free for a limited time. Gunvolt is free to download from 5/4/2017 – 5/17/2017, while EX Character Ekoro is free to download from 6/1/2017 – 6/14/2017.
