McDonald’s and Nintendo announced eight new Happy Meal toys featuring Super Mario Characters. The toys will be distributed at participating McDonald’s restaurants through May 22nd. The eight characters include: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Invincible Mario, Red Koopa Shell and the 1-Up Mushroom. Each toy features a different function. Also available using the McDonald’s app you can enter a special sweepstakes to win one of 100 different Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe packages. Every Happy Meal purchased is good towards two entries. The sweepstakes lasts until May 22nd, 2017.
This isn’t the first time Nintendo and McDonald’s have teamed up add a little Mario to the Happy Meal magic. Back during Mario Kart 8’s original release Nintendo and McDonald’s put together special Mario Kart 8 toys for the Happy Meal prizes back then. What are your thoughts?
