Nintendo announced via Twitter that the NES Classic Edition will return to stores on June 29th, 2018. The popular mini NES has been sold out frequently since its launch back on in November of 2016. The NES Classic Edition includes 30 NES games, many of which are timeless classics. Nintendo also mentioned it expects the supply of Super NES Classic Editions to last throughout the remainder of this year.

Hopefully Nintendo plans on continuing to supply fresh stock of both the NES Classic and the SNES Classic editions. Earlier this week Nintendo announced the Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition for the Japanese market only. This special edition Famicon (Japanese NES) will include 20 games released in Japan from a collection of Shonen Jump manga based games.
