Gal Metal, a drum rhythm game is set to release on the Nintendo Switch on February 8th, 2018. A trailer was published today, which showcases some of the game’s mechanics and gameplay. The game use’s the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers like batons for drums. Swinging the Joy-Cons to the correct rhythm, similar to the styles of other music games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Unlike other musical games, Gal Metal doesn’t feature musical notes on the screen, but rather uses the players own creativity to put on a good performance. The scenario is written by Shuuhou Imai, while the manga art that decorates the game is illustrated by Toshinao Aoki. See the trailer below.
