Today Nintendo announced the next Splatoon 2 Splatfest – Squid vs. Octopus. The next splatfest will start on July 20th, and last all the way through Saturday the 21st. This is the 1st anniversary for Splatoon 2 on the Nintendo Switch, which explains the reason for the Squid vs. Octopus theme. Since Nintendo just released the Octo Expansion for Splatoon 2 the Splatfest fits right in-line with the game’s latest DLC offering. You can choose either team Squid or team Octopus starting in-game on July 6th. Let us know which side your choosing using the comments below.
