Namco announced that PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 Plus will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch February 22nd, 2018. The Switch version of PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 comes will additional content and features not included in versions released on other platforms. Namco has confirmed that the Switch’s “Plus” version will include a new multiplayer mode which will be exclusive to the Switch version of the game. The new multiplayer mode is a new spin on the classic series, having players working together to defeat the lines of ghosts. For instance, ghosts can only be defeated by both players attacking from each side (see the trailer below). PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 Plus releases on the Nintendo Switch February 22nd, 2018 in North America.
