Mario just set another record, this time with his latest adventure on Switch – Super Mario Odyssey. The game sold 1.1 million in its first 5 days on sale, making it the fastest selling Mario game in the USA. Super Mario Odyssey also broke European records, but no numbers were given.

Super Mario Odyssey released on October 27th for the Nintendo Switch. The game has received excellent review scores across the internet, with a current Metacritic score of 97.
