Developer Playtonic announced the Yooka-Laylee Nintendo Switch release date today. The Banjo-Kazooie Inspired platformer will release on the Switch on December 14th, 2017. The game is currently available on other Platforms, including PS4 & Xbox One. According to Playtonic, the Switch version of Yooka-Laylee is the best version yet, with a more consistent frame-rate. For those who’d prefer to download a physical/boxed copy of Yooka-Laylee on Switch you might be disappointed. As of this writing only a digital-download (eShop) version has been confirmed. We may have to wait for an actual retail version of Yooka-Laylee on Switch, but at least the game is releasing on the eShop 🙂
