The next installment of the Call of Duty series will be releasing later this year and is officially called Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. This comes according to a leak by twitter user Okami who posted an image of the typical Black Ops backdrop with Black Ops Cold War written into the Call of Duty logo. No additional details like release date, systems its releasing for or any other details we’re given. The return to the Black Ops series makes sense considering its been one of the more successful franchises within the Call of Duty series. Fans should take the announcement of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War as a rumor until Activision or one of its partners officially announce the game.

After the rumor was announced our team at Nintenfan did some searching for any evidence of Black Ops Cold War. During our investigation we found a website blackopscoldwar.com that was first registered October 27th of 2019. We looked into who may of registered the website last year but the information is privitized. Their is a chance this domain was registered last year by Activision to prepare for the release of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Let us know what you think using the comments below.
