SEGA Steals From Nintendo’s Playbook and Unveils the SEGA Mega Drive Mini!
SEGA unveiled the SEGA Mega Drive Mini at SEGA Fes 2018. The Mega Drive Mini will launch in Japan sometime this year (2018). The Mini Mega Drive will feature a wide variety of classic Mega Drive games – though no details we’re given. Expect more details like game list, price and release date sometime soon.
From first impressions the system looks like a direct ripoff of the NES Classic and SNES Classic Edition consoles by Nintendo. Hopefully SEGA decides to release the Mega Drive Mini in North America and Europe.
