First reported by Reddit user AuraWielder the digital version of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze has apparently been removed from the Wii U eShop. This only applies to the North American eShop, as the Euorpean Wii U eShop still lists the game, both in its eShop digital form and retail (Nintendo Selects) version. It doesn’t come as a big surprise. Nintendo has discounted the Wii U version of Tropical Freeze from $60 – $20. With the Switch’s version recently released it makes sense that Nintendo would want to remove the Wii U’s version from the eShop – as the Switch version is 3 times more expensive.
