A new series of Mario Kart Hot Wheels we’re showcased at this year’s SDCC2018. The Mario Kart Hot Wheels collection will be available summer 2019 and will feature 8 characters & their kart. The series includes main staples in the Super Mario universe; see the list below along with some photos.

According to Mashable.com the series will release in June 2019. The price will come to $4.99 apiece. Back in 2016 Nintendo and Hot Wheels partnered together for a Super Mario / Hot Wheels throwback. Hopefully this will inspire additional collaborations between top toy brands and Nintendo franchises.
